HOPE International celebrates Jesse Casler as new president

We are pleased to announce Jesse Casler as the new president of HOPE International, serving alongside chief executive officer (CEO) Peter Greer.

As HOPE continues to grow, the president and CEO roles—previously held together by Peter since he joined HOPE in 2004—are formally dividing. Peter will continue as CEO, focusing on vision, strategy, supporter, and partner relationships, and stewarding opportunities for long‑term mission growth. Jesse will assume operational oversight as president and report to Peter as CEO, a leadership structure common among larger organizations and one that allows for greater executive focus and support for HOPE’s growing global team.

The right leader for this moment

Jesse brings extensive experience to his new role as president, having served more than a decade of his 21 years at HOPE as chief operating officer. His proven leadership, deep relationships across our global network, and steady commitment to HOPE’s mission uniquely equip him to guide the next chapter of operational excellence, team development, and Christ-centered growth. We look forward to how he will continue to equip and empower leaders throughout the HOPE network.

A strengthened leadership structure

This transition comes as we conclude our five‑year Dreaming Beyond initiative and prepare for our next period of strategic impact from 2027 – 2030. We thank God for the steady growth throughout HOPE’s history, as we’ve now invested in the dreams of more than 3.5 million families in underserved communities around the world.

As we enter this next season, HOPE remains focused on organizational health and building upon the significant momentum of the last five years. We are confident that dividing the roles and responsibilities of president and CEO will best support these goals and position HOPE for long-term impact. HOPE has remarkable opportunities ahead, and we are confident in the leaders God has prepared to steward this next chapter of our history.
