Link: A Spirituality of Fundraising, by Henri Nouwen – Henri Nouwen’s classic book illuminates the spirituality of fundraising and proclaims that “fundraising is proclaiming what we believe in such a way that we offer other people an opportunity to participate with us in our vision and mission. Fundraising is precisely the opposite of begging.”

Link: Coach Your Champions: The Transformational Giving Approach to Major Donor Fundraising, by Eric Foley – The Bible holds a totally different approach to major donor development—one completely counter to the secular fundraising approach ministries often practice. Eric Foley explores another approach in Coach Your Champions: The Transformational Giving Approach to Major Donor Fundraising.

Link: Mission Increase Foundation website – Mission Increase Foundation is an organization that provides free training in its transformational giving principles to nonprofits. They draw upon a wealth of nonprofit experience to work directly with CEOs, board members, and the fundraising staff of ministries seeking to grow their organization. To learn more, visit their website.

Link: The Sower: Redefining the Ministry of Raising Kingdom Resources, by R. Scott Rodin and Gary Hoag – This book offers momentum to every person involved in the process of raising money or giving money for the work of God's Kingdom. The authors advocate a realignment of priorities that places changed hearts above changed bank balances.
